SINCE BECOMING A MOM, PHOTOGRAPHING FAMILIES HAS TAKEN ON A WHOLE NEW MEANING.
Now that I have my own little ones to love, I realize to a deeper extent how valuable photography is. There is nothing I love more than to look back at old photos of my sweet babies, and recall all of their perfect details and everything about their personality when that photo was taken. Sometimes, a photograph can even make me re-live the sound of their laughter and the smell of their hair. What a treasure!
If you are a parent, I'm sure you know what I mean. Whether you are an expecting mother, brand new to parenthood, or seasoned in your journey with lots of sweet kiddos, I would love to capture this season of life for you.

TYPES OF FAMILY SESSIONS
FAMILY SESSION
Family sessions are designed for the young and growing family. These sessions typically take place outdoors, about 1-2 hours before sunset. You can also book a session in a natural light studio or in your home! Choose from a 30, 60, and 90 minute session.
MATERNITY SESSION
Maternity sessions are the perfect way to capture this fleeting season of pregnancy. I typically book maternity sessions about 6-8 weeks from your due date. These sessions can take place outdoors at sunset, in a studio, or at home! Choose from a 30, 60, or 90 minute session.
NEWBORN SESSION
Newborn sessions are typically booked within the first two weeks of life, when babies are their most sleepy and squishy selves! This session can take place in your home or at a natural light studio for an additional fee. Booked dates are flexible based on baby's arrival and mom's recovery. Choose from a 60 or 90 minute session.
The average family session investment is $550. Please inquire for detailed pricing.

There’s just something about a studio session—classic outfits, clean backgrounds, and that perfect pop of contrast 🤌🏼 I usually recommend two looks for an engagement session - starting out with a more comfy, casual outfit, and then ending the session with an elevated look. A forever favorite wedding of mine 🤍 things I’ll always remember about Josh and Katlynn’s day: the slow, peaceful morning getting ready (in the most beautiful house I’ve ever seen), the smiles on their parents faces as they watched the ceremony, the overwhelming joy shared after the first kiss (see slide 7😍) the incredibly delicious dinner, the BEST sunset, and the fireworks to end a perfect day ✨

If you’re hoping for dreamy, editorial getting ready photos… it all begins long before the camera comes out. Taking time to prepare your details, choosing a space with plenty of natural light, and giving your photographer extra time to create allows these moments to be captured in a way that feels elevated and effortless. A few intentional pieces like a custom hanger, loose florals, ribbon, or a bottle of perfume can elevate the look of your detail photos as well. Cozy at home or studio sessions are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the day, and I have a few golden hour spots open on weeknights as well ☀️
